A Ms. Cheryl Terry published an Index of Wills, of Beaty's, from Mecklenburg Co., NC, on GenForum on August 31, 2005. I would love to see the wills, but there is lots of info in the index, and some tax rolls. She gives the source info. You'll see a George Waddell working for the Frances Beaty estate. One might infer, also, that the John Beaty married to Mary was of the Frances Beaty family. They had a Samuel Beaty.
