My gg-grandfather, George Beatty (1794-1875), immigrated from Co. Fermnaugh, Ire. to Ontario in 1830.... his sons George & Matthew founded Beatty Brothers in Fergus.... He married (in Ont, 1833) an Ellen Beatty (b.Ireland), d/o Matthew, and I have no other information on them.... Probably no connection, but thought you should know....
