My Beaty line also comes from TN and moves to MO. And, the names are similar, there may be some connection. My William Beaty b.May 01, 1760 is s/o John Beaty & Margaret Montgomery. His 2nd wife Ann Bass had William Beaty who m. Lucinda (Sinday) Beaty. they move to Saline Co. MO, then on to Coryell Co. TX. One of their sons was Jonathan Crockett Beaty. This line comes from Fentress Co. TN -- see my webpage at: http://home.earthlink.net/~naturalsoft/fentress . Please let me know if you see any possible connection.
