This David Beatty's parents were Edward Beatty of Dublin, Lismore House in county Longford, and Heathfield House in Killurin, co. Wexford, d. 1794, and his wife Mary Brock of Glasnevin, married July 7, 1740.

David and Olivia had,b.1783,Edward of Heathfield House and Dublin, ed. Trinity college, m. 1813 Elizabeth Mansergh, who were parents of David (Infantry, 99th foot)m. Letitia Adams 1838.

In 1787 David and Olivia had Capt. David Beatty of Borodale, Enniscorthy, Co. Wexford (m.1813 Elizabeth Martin, dau. John Martin of Corle, the sheriff of Cork). This David and Elizabeth had David B. of borodale who m.Mary Eliz. Longfiels, dau. Robt Longfield of Cork by wife Mary Martin, 2nd dau. of John Martin of Corle (thus his cousin).
