Marilyn,

I have information I'd like to share on ARMSTRONGS of County Tyrone, Ireland who settled in Quebec in 1817 with several young daughters.... perhaps your Jane Armstrong among them. They lived at Huntingdon and in Franklin County, New York. Several cousins are participating in FamilyTree DNA projects and we've had fantastic results.
