I recently found this record that is listed in Kentucky Probate and Church Records, Vol., I, Scott County (KY) Estates, Page 87.

WILLIAM BEATTY, SR. -- Will Book A, Page 173 -- Wife, Sarah, 50 acres joining James Beatty; three sons, George, Joseph and Howard; daughter, Sally; daughter Nancy; to my children by former wife, John, William, Molly, wife of James Beatty, Betsy Craymiles, James Beatty. Executors -- wife, Sarah and son, George. Written August 23, 1800. Proved December 1803. Witnesses -- Maureen Duvall, Cornelius Duvall.

This is the same William Beatty who is on Lineage 60 on the Beatty Project 2000 website, but on that site his date of death is given as: "after December 19, 1832".

Can anyone clarify?
