Walker of 1563 Joseph Beatty was in the 1850, 1860, 1870 Ray County, MO census. He was born 01 Dec 1821 in Missouri. I think his parents were Edward and Anna S. Smith Beatty. His wife was Mary McCroskie born in Ray County, MO in 1825 daughter of John and Elizabeth McCroskie. They had 9 children: John Wesley, Thomas Reuben, Alexander, Sarah Margaret, James, Mary, Jasper, Adeline and Elizabeth. I've lost track of Joseph and Mary after the 1870 census.
