Hi, I just came across your posting and thought I would reply. I just received a copy of the will of Walter Beaty (Baty) dated 7th day of March 1752. "...Walter Baty of Black smith of Reign township and county of York and Province of Pennsylvania...". Proved 3 Nov 1752. He names his son Samuel and "his children", his son [this would be his son-in-law] William Lindsay, daughter Esther Baty "otherwise McCoy...for her son Henry McCoy", daughter Mary Baty "otherwise Linsday (sic), son William Baty, son John McCoy [this would be his son-in-law],.. It is signed: "Walter Betty" and witnessed by John Jameson and William Wilson and Thomas Mason. I descend from Esther Beatty McCoy and John McCoy who both died in Cecil Co., MD. Their dau.Lillian married John Sharpe and moved to Iredell Co., NC. Notify Administrator about this message?
