Capt. Samuel GINGLES, Jr. in Rowan Co., NC. Eleanor's parents were Thomas BEATTY and Agnes Houston. Samuel and Eleanor's children were Samuel GINGLES, III; Thomas Hunter GINGLES; Adlai GINGLES; David GINGLES; Edwin LeRoy GINGLES; Minty Caroline GINGLES; Margaret ("Peggy") GINGLES; and Charles GINGLES. My GINGLES pedigree continues through their son Edwin LeRoy GINGLES.
