Ray, Yes, I know only that much about Samuel Beaty of Knox Co.. Not sure whether it is just coincidence - We know that Isabelle didn't arrive to the US til September 1841 and all her children including the last one born in 1839 all reported born in Ireland for all the census they show up on for the rest of the 1800s. Certainly would seem possible that Samuel could have been a younger brother of Isabelle - or at least a cousin. Wish I could find someone who descends from Samuel and make the connection. I still have not learned even remote information about Isabelle's parents or siblings - either from Irish or U.S. records. - only the county she came from and that only from her gravestone. I'd like to know when Samuel came to the US and with whom. I don't think that information was on the Census til 1900 and I haven't tracked Samuel that far but doubt he was alive then. I do need to look at his family again and see where his children were born and when.
