JANE BEATTIE was born about 1788? at Caerlaverock and died before December 1868?. In 1818 she married THOMAS McALLISTER born about 1798 at Middlebie. He died at Kelton, Kirkcudbright in 1868.
They had three known children -
ELIZABETH McALLISTER about 1827, BENJAMIN McALLISTER about 1832 and
JANE McALLISTER born about 1818 at Caerlaverock. She died at Crocketford in 1896. Married (Kirkmichael 1841) to WILLIAM RAE born Kirkgunzeon about 1818 and died at Kirkpatrick Durham in 1871.Jane and William had children -
Margaret Rae 1843/ Thomas Rae 1845/ William Rae 1847/ JAMES RAE 1849 married JANE GRAHAM/ Mary Jane Rae 1852 andElizabeth Rae 1855.
