Seeking information on ancestors of Robert Beattie b. abt 1795 in Scotland, married Elizabeth ? b. abt 1795 in Scotland, had son Robert b. abt 1820 Scotland. Had a son James 1831 in Canada, Hall E. 1834, dau. Elizabeth 1838, and son, Charles in 1843 in Canada. Probable they had other children between 1820 and 1831 in Scotland, and other children in Canada.
Migrated from Canada to De Pere, Brown County, Wisconsin prior to 1850. Robert's inital naturalization paper apparently spelled Beathe. His sons were Beattie.(This is from online info at Cofrin Library/University of WI, Green Bay.)
Elizabeth(above) married Abram Williams
Robert married Mary? and had: Margaret abt 1846 in Canada, Samuel abt 1850 in WI, Elizabeth abt 1854 in WI.
Hall E., married Adaline Rimmington b. Canada abt 1839. They had issue: (all born in WI) Jane in 1855, Elizabeth b. 1856, Mary b. 1857, Robert b. 1860, George abt 1863, Carrie abt 1865, Lottie abt 1873, and Gracie abt 1876 per census records. Looks like there was a Kate age 1 on 1870 census in De Pere, Brown Co, WI and not on the 1880 census of Sutton, Clay Co, NE.
James married Margarette ? b. abt 1837 NY and they had: Frances abt 1855 WI, William abt 1857 WI. James was at Ft. Howard, Brown, Co, WI on 1860 census.
