First off let me tell you that I am in no way connected to either the family or the seller of this bible.
I only try to let family members doing research, when I come across something on ebay that I can identify, in hopes that they will find their way back to their families.
I also do genealogy and know how important these things can be.......

Family Bible Canaram/Beattie-MI, New Oxford Quarto Edition - 1898
Holy Bible, New Oxford Quarto Edition, Copyright 1898, published by Thomas & Thomas - Chicago. Approximately 12” x 10” and 3” thick. Inside front cover has “Mrs. Lottie Canaram, Spring Arbor, Mich.” written in pencil. Binding is lightly frayed top and bottom and starting to come apart but all there. Illustrations are incredibly detailed engravings. Family information includes; Marriage certificate for James Canaram and Lottie Beattie, married in Dayton Twp. Michigan, October 27, 1898; Births of the same couple - Lottie August 21, 1875 - James June 27, 1875; Deaths include the same James on September 15, 1917 - Lottie July 29, 1934 and Lottie’s sister Florence June 27, 1909. This was found in an attic of a grandparent’s home. It is believed to have belonged to a step-grandparent’s sibling. We have tried to locate that family but they are mostly deceased, so it is here for auction. There were many receipts, war rations and news paper clippings inside, these have been removed.
