I have a Sara MacInnes married to Alexander "Alasdair Ban" Beaton. He was the son of Alexander and Ann Beaton who immigrated to Nova Scotia around 1804. Alexander, the younger, was born in 1801 probably in Lochaber, Scotland. Sara and Alexander had a daughter named Mary, born around 1830, who married Ronald Beaton. They had three children that I know of, John, Mary and Sara.

Do you think there might be a connection?
