Hello Jill,
I am related to the Sara Ellen Ward who married General Taylor Beeson in Lauderdale Co., MS on 16 Dec 1868. Her parents were Canzia (various spellings) Alexander and Moses Ward. Her grand parents were Joseph and Nancy Alexander and her gr grandparents were John Alexander and his wife Lavicy (various spellings) Roebuck.
I know nothing about Sara Ellen's descendants but quite a bit about the line outlined above. I will be happy to exchange information with you.
