Linda,
Is your friend sure of her dates? I have a Lt. ASA Bearse b. Halifax, MA May 13, 1740, son John and Sarah (Holmes) Bearse. He m. Mary Randall in Pembroke MA, Nov. 27, 1760 and they were the parents of Charles Bearse b. Mar. 26, 1770. He m. Elizabeth FOGG which may be where the name Fogg came from.
The family moved to hebron, ME and are bur. in the Greenwood Hill Cem. also known as the Bearse Cem.
I have further info if your friend is interested.. Feel free to email me.. I tried to email you, but it was returned as add. "unknown"
Jo
