Hi, I've enjoyed reading your various posts while researching my family link to the Bearse line. Looking into the mtDNA for mother/daughter lineage would be very informational and exciting. Also, I would love to know if what Franklin Bearse said about Freelove Canfield was true, if her mother was really Sarah Mauwee's, daughter of Joseph Mauwee and Ann Warrups. I am a direct female line from Freelove, hence if my mtDNA was done it should reflect a haplogroup from this continent. My Augustine Bease lineage- Agustine Bearse Joseph Bearse Josiah Bearse Josiah Bearse II Josiah Bearse III and wife Freelove (Canfield)Bearse Rebecca (Bearse) Reed Clarissa (Reed) White Clarissa Caroline (White) Blakely Clarissa (Blakely) Parry Harriet Nona (Parry)Johnson Grandma Mom Me :D I find it very interesting about the various family legends about Mary Hyanno. My Mother and I were talking about how my Grandma always told stories about there being an Indian Princess in our lineage. Whatever the truth is, it is alright with me. It's like a good mystery novel that's just hard to put down. I guess if there was merit to what he (Franklin Bearse) said about Freelove Canfield's mother-secret, it would further convince me of what he said regarding "Little Dove". Peace and Love, Kim Notify Administrator about this message?
