I have been contacted by an academic writer who is seeking information on Margaret Barss Freeman, who was an important medievalist and writer. She served as director of the Cloisters museum (part of the Metropolitan Museum of Art) in New York until 1965. She was born in 1899, but I do not have any information on her parents or ancestry.
