For what its worth, I wrote to the Narangansett Indians (no reply yet) to ask if any of this is possible??

Understand the geneologist's analysis but it seems to me there must be a kernal of truth somewhere in this. I don't think it was ALL made up.

Did you ever read Michener's book "Centennial"? On of the main characters, Pasquinel, has a regular wife in New Orleans and an Indian wife on the plains.

As I said, I get into this group through the Paddocks who marry the Hall girls. There is a supposed Paddock/Padoc geneology back to 1283.

Even better is the guy I just read about on GENI.com (a great site for organizing your geneology!!) This guy claims to have done his geneology through the Bible back to Adam and Eve and wants to put GOD in as his ancestor.
