It's really, really strange but my grandmother who is 94 years old once told me that I was a descendent of massasoit, not through her family line but through my grandfather. I always wondered about that and could never prove anything until I found my Bearse connection. (I need to get documents to "prove" the link but it looks good so far).

It's really giving me tingles to think that it's been over 30 years since she told me this story.

How would my grandmother know about this? Seems incredulous that I seem to have found the connection and yet it's still controversial even today.
