Hi Dave,

I descend from Martha Bearse through her daughter Jane Gould who married Ebenezer Bangs. I have not found documented proof, but I have found a lead. Benjamin Bearse married twice ( as far as I can tell). His first wife was Elizabeth Godfrey ( p. 3 Chatham VR); they were married 31 May 1733 in Chatham. Children of the first marriage were :

Martha
Jonathan
Moses
Elizabeth
George
Benjamin

His second wife was Jane Collins ( I believe they were married 1744 in Chatham).
