Hi!! Thanks for your e-mail!!!
The location on 6A is the location of the farm site; if there is any of a house left, from Mary & Austin, I don't know about it. Maybe the folks at the B & B, there, know something. To find it, start in Barnstable Village, and go west on 6A - a mile or so. You'll go UNDER the railroad bridge; right after that, on the right is a B & B - I think (but not sure) that it's the Lamb & Lion; they have a gift shop there. That was where the 1640s farm site was - right there (where the B & B is) - from the highway (6A), down to the lake. I'd offer to help you - but that's a bit difficult. My HOME is Barnstable Village, but right now, I'm working in Europe - teaching for the Univ. of Maryland, Europe Division....
By the way, I see Hallett in your name; I'm a Hallett descendant, too. (Halletts of Yarmouthport). Jim Calvin
