I am looking for a father of Charles J. Beard (b. 1859). Charles was born in Ohio, and died in Oklahoma. He married a woman named Catherine A. and had a daughter named Mabel. Mabel appears to have been born in Indiana, and married a Roy Baxter from Kansas. They are all living together in the 1920 Census in Dacoma, Oklahoma.
Charles J.'s mother was named Sarah Jane, and by 1865 is married to Elam Kittle. Sarah Jane and Elam are born in Virginia. I am not sure where _________ Beard (Charles J.'s father) was born. He is either from Virginia or Ohio, and it is likely he died in Ohio.
I am a descendant of the Kittle line, but can't nail much of it down before Elam. So any info on Sarah Jane could be helpful.
