Thank you for the information, I did think Anna was a little young, but I have learnt from researching my family the ladies seem to get younger as they get older :) So it seems that Charles was possibly a widower by 1970 maybe his wife died in childbirth.

I think a trip to the cemetery will be in order one day :)
