William Lafayette Beard [May 1846] married my great aunt Sarah Elizabeth Martin [have the marriage bond]. They lived and died in Caldwell, County North Carolina.
Their children all born in Caldwell, NC [though some moved away]:
Rufus Augustus b. 1885 m. Claudia Jerome Swanson
Jacob Shuford b. Jun 1886 m. Bessie B. Hensley [she remarried after Shuford's death sometime prior to 1930[Mr Church]and relocated to California where she and both of her children [Bernice Kenealy & Fern Augusta Reed]died.

John A. b. May 1889-1956
C. Frederick b. 1890
Forest P. b. Jul 1893
Claudia E. b. Nov 1894
Tressie Mae b. Apr 1896 - d. 1950
I have photos of all of Sarah Martin Beard's siblings and some of the spouses. I am seeking further information on descendents.
