John Bearce

I recently started trying to trace the ancestry of my 4x great grandmother Ursula Bearce b.1762 and discovered an apparent track through Asa b. 1740, John b.1687, Joseph b. 1678/79, and Austin. The Mayflower Descendant shows a John Bearce that married Sarah Holmes in 1720 in Plymouth, MA and had 12 children baptized in Halifax, MA. The MD also shows a John Bearce that was born to Joseph and Martha Taylor Bearce in Barnstable, MA in 1687. The MD also shows a John Bearce married to Elinor Lewis in 1711 in Barnstable. Maybe a first marriage? However, according to capecodgravestones.com, a John Bearce, age 73, was buried in Hyannis, MA South St Cemetary in 1760 alongside his wife Elinor Bearce who died in 1766, age 84.Was there a different John Bearce who married Sarah Holmes and had children in Halifax? Or did the same John Bearce separate from Elinor, live in Halifax, and then had his body returned to Barnstable for burial? Can anyone help with this puzzle?
