Bearce Family Genealogy Forum

Lee Murrah mentioned my research several times in his summary of his genealogies although he didn't mention me by name. I am the researcher who went to the Library of Congress to ask about the accuracy of Jacobus and his conflict with Austin (Augestine) Bearce (pronounced BURCE). I also have copies of the original and complete Bearce manuscript which I acquired from the Rare Books and Manuscript division at the Library of Congress many years ago. I have researched it's accuracy for more than 40 years and only found 3 or 4 inaccuracies, most of no consequence. As a result of personal research, I have tied all of the tribes of the east coast together as one family showing intermarriages between tribes from 1100-1850, with several thousand names and families in my database. I have collected memorized genealogies, family Bibles, manuscripts, historical records and diaries using only origional sources. Most of my data is temporarily in storage but I am able to assist others to lead them to sources for the information they seek, and provide research tips. Mary G. Butler Hilliard, Pathfinder.
