Heres a kick in the pants!I have a family member that is spelled James Barce,b.4/13/1717,d.12/8/1791 He and his wife are burried in cornwall CT. She was Mary Bumpas ,b 1720,
d.10/20/1772.These are both from the same family that i think we all are from.Can anyone tell me why we have so many different spellings for the same name?
