Josiah4 Bearss/Bearse, b. 1721, son of Josiah and Zerviah Newcombe, married Rebecca Baldwin and their descendants are well known. However, many sources also say he married first, Martha, and had four sons and two daughters: Josiah, Thomas, Louise, Anna, Joseph, and Benjamin. Is anything known of these children? Did this marriage and children really exist? Any information appreciated.
