During the week before Thanksgiving of this year I flew to Centerville, Ma. to see the Austin Bearse house for myself. It is a wonderful, historic house, of museum quality.
I have recently had a letter from the realtor, Vivian Nault of Vivian's Realty, she tells me the owner very badly needs to move this property and will now accept an offer. Does any Bearse family member out there have the funds to buy it or establish a trust for it so it could be opened to the public as it should be? I will continue to try to make connections with government entities which may be helpful, but time is short on this.
