Desc. v. 23 pg 172& 173) int. pub. 23 Jan. 1719-20 (M.D. v. 18 pg 142) married: John Bearse to sarah Holmes 12 may 1720, Plymouth, MA. (M.D. v. 14, pg 39) >Asa Bearse (sometimes Bearce) s. John and Sarah Holmes, b. Halifax, MA 15 May 1740 (Halifax VRS v. 1 pg 322) m. in Pembroke, MA 27 Nov. 1760, Mary Randall (Pem. VRS pg 335) John Bearse was son of James and Experience Bearse and was b. in Plympton (now Halifax) abt 1691 and d. there in 1761. > James Bearse was son of Austin (Emi. Anc.) and Mary ( ) Bearse. >Asa was an early buyer in Shepardsfield Plt. - Hebron, ME. Asa d. there July 15, 1829 and wife mary d. there Apr. 15, 1825. Both are bur. in what is sometimes called the Bearse Yard. > I have 8 ch. listed to Asa and Mary, Charles b. Mar. 26, 1770, listed as #4. Charles m. 1st, Mar. 19, 1795, Elizabeth Fogg; 2nd, Apr. 8, 1821, Mary Donham. Charles d. Jan. 16, 1855 at Minot. (I believe he's bur. in the Bearse yard) Hope this helps....
