Nancy-

My apologies. I now realize that you were 3/4 right. The John Bearce that married Sarah Holmes was the son of James Bearce b. 1660 and Experience. Only the Howland part is wrong, or at least unproven. From Dale Ford, Plymouth County GenWeb Project Coordinator and Mayflower researcher, I have the reply: " The children of James and Experience are not in doubt, just her (Experience's) surname.There is no evidence to indicate her surname is Howland."
