Looking for information concerning my grandfather, James Mack Bean, born TN (Jackson County, Mar 27, 1859), died Booneville, Arkansas (Logan County) Jan 7, 1944. Buried in Cauthron Cemetery of Booneville. First wife Sarah (Sally) Jane McCoy daughter of Rufus Fletcher McCoy. Sarah was born 3 Jan 1865, died 8 March 1904. They had sons, William L., Claude E., Rupert L., George(Dewey), Paul E.. My grandfather's second marriage was to my grandmother Etta Lee White, born 1885, died Feb. 29, 1972 in Pryor, OK. Buried in Cauthron Cemetery of Booneville. They had five boys, Mack Jr, James Hansford, Charles Van, Maurice and Wayne, Three girls Vivian, Hazel, and Wanda. My grandfather was a retired railroad blacksmith. Owned properties (Houses) in Boonevlle and supposedly businesses in Fort Worth, Texas (General Stores or blacksmith shops).
