Merrimack,NH ** May 25 1948 -
Edwin J. Woodward died at his home Sunday night after a
long illness. He was 69 years old and a native of
Hatley,Quebec, the son of Edwin J. & Lucinda (Bean) Woodward. Since 1941 he had made his home here engaging in farming and lumbering.
He served as a town road agent and was a former member of
100F. Prior to coming here to live, he was employed by
General Fire Extinguisher company of Providence,RI.
Surviver's include a son Edwin J. Woodward Jr. of Reed's
Ferry; a daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Nichol of Lennoxville,Quebec; two brothers, Ray F. Woodward of
Epsom and Donald S. Woodward of Medford,Mass.; a
sister, Mrs. Elvira Hodges of Epsom ; two grandchildren,
nieces & nephews.
Friends & Relatives may call at the Fisk Funeral Home
this evening from 7-9 p.m.
