My incomplete records have:
William A. Bean, b. ~1730 in Scotland, d. ~1790 in Phila. PA. Children: Alexander, David, Elizabeth, John W., Robert, William, Hugh, Thomas W., James (born in Ireland??)and Andrew.

I am descended from James, who died in Greenville, Mercer Co., PA. His children were Elizabeth J., Jane J., Mary J., Nancy J., Susan J., James J., John J., Rebecca J. and Margaret J. (Really wanted them to remember him, I guess).

James J, b. ~1790 at York, PA, d. 7 Aug 1846 at Mercer Co, PA. He married Jane Woods, b. ~1790 in Ireland, d. 19 Oct 1864 at Mercer Co., PA. Their children were Cassenina, Emily, Laird, Erastus Luster and Maria Theresa. This youngest daughter was a minor when land grants for service in the war of 1812 were given (Iowa). So she & her husband (Oscar Borthwick) started another genealogy.
