I hope this will help someone in this line: Obituary from "Buffalo Christian Advocate" (New York) *found in Kellogg Bible* BEAN Died at No. 176, Herkimer Street, Buffalo, N.Y., March 8, 1894, Cyrus Prentiss Bean. He was born at Byron, N.Y., October 5, 1863. Having mastered the art of telegraphy he accepted positions at Oswego, Boston, Philadelphia, and finally at Buffalo, where for nine years past he has been a skillful and trusted employee of the Postal Telegraph Company. September 21, 1892, he was married to Miss Minnie Clifford, a prominent member of the choir, and with her joined the Plymouth Methodist Episcopal church, December 4 following. He was converted at Byron, N.Y., under the pastorial labors of the Rev. C.B Sparrow, and at the time of his death was one of the most prominent and promising, useful and beloved, of the young men of the church. His Christian character grew with his years. His exceptionally happy home on Herkimer Street was suddenly enshrouded in gloom, and after one week's illness, he died, one of the first cases of fatality in the typhoid epidemic of 1894. The whole church mourns his loss. (obituary written by) A.W. Hayes Notify Administrator about this message?
