Looking for descendants of Marquis(or Mark) D. Bean(e), born April 14, 1859- Pleasant Ridge Township, Maine to Levi Bean and Belinda Pinkham. He had 12 siblings, 1 of whom died in infancy and five others in a diphtheria epidemic in 1878. According to the 1880 Census he was still living at home with his parents, older brother Gardiner Levi, and younger sister Josephine. After that we have no information about him, except for seeing his name listed in an 1898 Civil War pension document for Levi as one of his father's surviving children. We found a gravestone for a Mark D. Beane 1860 - 1938 (3 other names- Mary F., Vinal J., and Ernest J. are also listed on the stone) in the Cassidy Cemetery in Concord, Maine - but we're not sure if Marquis D. and Mark D. are one and the same person.
