Hello Garry. Thank you for your reply. My g.grandfather George John married Lizzy Beamish1858-1944 in Coventry 17/1/1881 going to live in Birmingham. one of their sons married his first cousin Nelly Beamish there was no issue from this union. In nearby Nuneaton a step daughter Helena of Samuel Beamish 1835-81 married Levi Munton (no close relation). The graves of these two families lie next to each other in the cemetry in Nuneaton. It seems such a coincidence that the Beamishes and muntons should be so intermarried I should like to find a reason.
