My g g grandmother Julia <nee Alsop>Sleigh,was the daughter of Daniel Alsop, and Rebecca Beamish. Julia's mother
Rebecca, had a brother William, and sister Diana. Their father William Beamish,was lighterman, and owner of barges
in Putney,London, U.K.,where he lived and died.
I have a lettwer written by my g g grandmother Julia, re
a lot of money in ''CHANCERY'' on either the Alsop - or
Beamish side. One was apparently, a great artist!! Died
c 1887.
