hi,
I am the great grandaughter of a mary beamish who was born in manvers township, victoria county, ontario, canada in 1846. In my research i have discovered that (according to the census of 1851) she had four siblings, a brother named Thomas, and sisters named Jane,Elizabeth and Margaret. Their parents were named William and Ann. However I have also come across several different Beamish families all living in Ontario at that time. I'm sure yours is among them and I suggest that you try to access the ontario census database (the one for 1871). Also i found a very helpful gentlemen at the Scugog Museum in Victoria county who has access to many records listing Beamish family connections. His name is Frank and either he or his wife might be able to help.
