Hello Steve
I have a Jane Beamish B: 1825 who was married to a Mr Swanton in 1844 ( by whom she had 2 sons that we know of) and on his death she married Rev Edwards. This Beamish family were from County Cork. Apparently she and her two sons emigrated to New Zealand.
Maybe there is a connection? I have also a Richard Beamish married to Catherine with four sons, John, Francis, Thomas & Richard.
