I am searching for the parents of Robert CARLISLE of Hancock Co GA d.c. 1835-40m wife Hannah. They were the only Carlisle surnames in the county at that time. There was a Carlisle Beaman/Beman who headed a boys' school, Mt. Zion ,in the county and I was checking this Forum to see what I could find on him. It's a long shot, but if you have any hint of a connection, I'd like to know. Thanks. Fay
