Glad to hear from you Pamela. I had about given up on this message. How wonderful your great aunt lived to the age of 105! I now believe that Edwin (we called him Uncle Frank) did not have any children with the first wife Hattie. Edwin first worked in his father's bookbindery and paperbox factory in Laconia, NH, then he was a traveling salesman for a time but left NH around 1902. I believe he was an Optician for most of his life.

Your response solves one mystery as the family remembered Lillie as being the name of the second wife of Tom (Edwin Beaman's brother). Tom's only wife it now appears was Donna, last name unknown. Tom and Donna did have a son Arthur. The family remembers a son Tommy so they may have had another child who died or they called Arthur by the name Tommy. I don't believe Arthur ever married or if he did it was late in life. He lived with family members from time to time and then moved to CT and was never heard from since.

Edwin's brother Charles was my great grandfather. His daughter Mollie used to take the train down from NH to see Uncle Frank (Edwin) when she needed her glasses changed and he would come to Laconia, NH from time to time to see his father.

Would you have known your great aunt Lilie or did you live far away? I have pictures but there are no family members left who can identify for sure which one was Edwin.

Would appreciate it if you know where Edwin, his wives, and his brother Thomas Whipple Beaman are buried.

Thanks again for the info. Was great to hear from you. You may email me directly if you wish.

Beverly
