Anyone connected with these Beams? OR does anyone know email addresses of them. I am related to them through a common ancestor, Elijah Marcus Beam, Marshall County, Texas. My grandfather, William Marcus Beam was born in 1867 and John A Beam, from whom I believe the Texas Beams are descended from was born in 1870. Now the twisted and reason for contacting: Supposedly their father Elijah Marcus Beam was killed in 1865 at the battle of Bentonville, NC. So who is the father(s) of William Marcus and John A. Beam????
There were older brothers born in the early 1860's who also moved to Smith County, Texas. I am trying to find one in those families who is willing to have a DNA test taken to verify descendancy of William Marcus, my gfather and John A. Beam. Many thanks. I can be contacted at (916) 679-0414.
