I know I have been in contact with someone searching for Dock Beam but can't remember who. Maybe this will be useful to someone.

I still hope to find decendents of John Teeter Beam or his son Peter Beam willing to share documents or photos. I have been to the John Teeter Beam site. Theres wonderful photos there but I would really like info on Isaac Alexander Beam only child and son of Peter Beam and Elizabeth Houser. He was grown when he came to Texas so someone must have some info. I am told a half sister Jane Harmon raised him. His mother died shortly after his birth.He was born May 28,1852 in Cleveland Co. North Carolina - died Aug 2, 1938 in Mason,Texas.
