I am looking for anyone that might know who the parents of Napoleon Bonaparte Beakley are. He was born 1833 in Hickman Co., Tennessee. It is said his family moved to St. Louis and were all wiped out from yellow fever, all but Napoplen and one brother.
I find Napoleon living with an uncle, Robert Land, in Hickman Co. Ten. in 1850 but no brother. It has been said that they ran away because the uncle beat them with the buggy whip. Napoleon came to Randolph County Arkansas.
I have been wondering if the George Washington Beakley that shows up early in Texas might be the brother.
Does anyone know of any other children of George Beakley besides William M. Beakley? I feel there is a connection here somewhere.
