Hi Ben,
It's your dad's cousin Ellen Glenn Childs, better known as E.
I have been sharing a whole bunch of Beakes and Fenwick genealogy with your Aunt Suze, and I'm sure she would be happy to send it along to you. Or I can--whatever. Our cousin Tim Rensema (Ann Beakes Rensema's middle kid) has collected quite a bit too. I think Suze and I have a possible trip to Middletown, NY penciled in around a West Point reunion next summer. Maybe Tim too. Anyhow, I have become a real genealogy freak, and have found us a bunch of Revolutionary soldier ancestors, and two Mayflower ancestors--father and son, Stephen and Giles Hopkins. We're descended from them through your dad's great grandmother, whose mother, Mary Ann Godfrey is a proven Mayflower descendant. I used to think all this was silly, but have found myself really interested in who came before us, and why they came over from Europe.
So if you're still interested, ask away!
E
