William Thomas Beadles' sister Clarissa (Clairy) was my gggGrandmother.
You surprised me by saying that William and Clarissa's mother was named Wayland. Information I have found (albeit second hand information) shows that she was named Lurania (various spellings) Miller.
Although this is the same as or similar to the name of William's wife, it is not the first time I have come across recurring names and intermarrying amongst 'clans'. The same names crop up several times in each generation.
Anyway, to give you some information to start checking out, here's what I have regarding William Beadles' family:
Father: Capt John BEADLES, Sr. (Son of Robert Beadles and Delilah)
Mother: Lurania MILLER (daughter of Capt Robert MILLER, Jr. and Margaret (Peggy) MAUPIN)
Siblings: John Jr., Lurenna, Clarissa, Robert, Nancy Ann, James M., Jane (Jennie).
William Married: Lurenna Catherine MILLER, Orange County, VA.
CLARISSA BEADLES:
Married: Thomas SHELTON (son of William Shelton III and Frances MAUPIN).
Clarissa's and Thomas' Children: Virginia, William (Billie) IV, Laurena M., Frances Dabney, and Mary Jane (my ggGrandmother).
