Frances may be the daughter of William and
Sarah OWENS BEADLES who lived in Wilson Co, TN for most of their lives, although they
married in Halifax County, VA. They may
be connected to the BEADLE family of
Amelia Co, VA.
The BEADLE family in Jefferson Co, IL
appears to be distinct from the one in
Wilson Co, TN for at least several generations. Richard Fenly Beadle (1814-1885)came from Clark Co, IN to IL.
It appears that his ancestors may have
been from the Shenandoah Valley of VA
prior to moving to Jefferson Co, KY and
then on to Clark Co, IN.
