I am trying to research my family tree, and was wondering if anyone might have any information on the Beadles of Halifax County. My father was born in Halifax County (Nathalie area) William Lacy Beadles on Jan. 19, 1927. His father's name was Archie Dale Beadles and his mother's name was Victoria (I do not know her maiden name). I do know she remarried, and at the time of her death she was known as Victoria Clay. My father had a brother, Moreal Beadles, and one step- sister, Adel (?) Anderson.
If anyone can give me a start to trace my family tree, it would be greatly appreciated.
